Tragedy of Vietnam after thoughts

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. It may have been a quick start, but it was a great way to familiarize ourselves with the events in Vietnam and have a better idea of just how complex everything really was. Before now, I had no knowledge of the history of Vietnam and no concept of the amount of time there had been conflict within the country. In addition, I never knew that the United States involvement in Vietnam spanned so many years and included so many different administrations. I think it is very interesting and extremely important to study Vietnam at a time when it is analogous to many things going on currently in our country. I'm really looking forward to learning more about Vietnam and having a greater understanding of what our nation was like during the war, and how it relates to now.
